Extended Deadline

The field of medicine in the present day of globalisation and climate change, infectious diseases are ever evolving, evoking uncertainty and uncharted territory for healthcare workers and researchers. In this context, steadfast leaders are more crucial than ever, fostering collaboration and navigating complexity, to offer stability, growth, and direction for their teams.

“Empowering women in leadership” is a “Lead with impact” immersive leadership development course designed by Trivium - global experts in Participatory Leadership and the LEGO®SERIOUS PLAY®methodology.

This new programme is designed specifically for women in healthcare with the purpose to support them in strengthening their leadership voice, addressing the gendered dynamics women face at work in the hospital/clinic/laboratory, and developing practical strategies for visibility, assertiveness and career advancement.

Through this training you will be empowered to cultivate inclusive team cultures, lead with emotional intelligence, and drive performance in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Participants will engage in hands-on sessions, strategic simulations, and co-creation exercises designed to build resilience, decision-making skills, and trust within teams.

Whether you’re leading a lab, a hospital department, a research group, or a public health initiative, this course will help you rise above gender discrimination, transform your leadership approach, and elevate your impact.

Intended audience:

  • Female team leads or department heads with min 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Mid-career infectious disease specialists, clinical microbiologists, public health professionals, and research leaders.
  • Professionals working in cross-cultural, multi-generational, or interdisciplinary teams within healthcare, academia, or public health systems.
