Train the Trainers Fellowship

This fellowship covers the registration fee, travel and accommodation for the educational or scientific event specified:

Upon receiving the grant, the grantee commits to organize an educational activity in their own country based on the knowledge gained at the selected event. The follow-up education activity will be supported by the Foundation and consists of the following:

Vaccine conference

Target audience is healthcare physicians. Successful applicants should organise at least a 1-h webinar/seminar in their country on a topic of the conference (e.g. new developments) AND should promote vaccination through effective communication. The Foundation can provide a webinar hosting platform.

EUCIC IPC Certificate and AMS Certificate Programme

Teaching 2x onsite seminars at local institutions on what they learnt from the certification or commit to a longer local education programme – The Foundation can provide Power Point slides translated in the local language.

The call for Vaccine Conference fellowship is open from 26 May 2025 to 16 June 2025.

Who can apply

Fellowships are open to all people working and residing in Eastern European (EE) countries (according to the United Nations Geoscheme) or  low- or lower-middle-income countries (LMIC) (according to the World Bank Classification).

Application process

Applicants must provide the following documents: 

  • A short application/motivation letter (350 characters)
  • CV and list of publications
  • Proof of working and residing in EE or LMIC in English. This can include one of the following: employment contract/proof from employer or university, proof of residency no older than one year, a copy of home rental contract (document must be dated within the last year), or a phone/utility bill (document must be dated within the last year). Please note copy of the passport is not sufficient

The Foundation will grant up to 10 fellowships for each event.
